The Canadian band Arcade Fire have found an unusual way to tease their new track, ‘Creature Comfort’: the short fragment of comes in the form of a typical cereal advert! Be sure to give it a look below and share your thoughts.
Arcade Fire is getting ready to release the new album, Everything Now, on July 28 and they first shared the title track, now followed by the single ‘Creature Comfort’. In fact, during their recent shows the group had already played the song live. They had also debuted live a track titled ‘Signs of Life’.
In order to make waiting for ‘Creature Comfort’ more fun, Arcade Fire also came up with a sort of a quest: fans could find hidden cereal boxes Creature Comfort in various shops around Dublin (like that one in the video below). By tweeting their pic with the cereal box lucky fans got themselves an invitation to Malahide Castle on June 14 to see the band live in Dublin.
Arcade Fire’s forthcoming album, Everything Now, was produced by the group members themselves with the help of Daft Punk‘s Thomas Bangalter and Pulp musician Steve Mackey. The disc will be available in various formats: CD, cassette and vinyl. The latter includes 20 different artwork variants.
