June 12, 2017

AlteRock often reports whose album made it to the top of the Billboard 200 chart but this time there’s something more to it: Halsey’s second album has just reached her first No. 1 position on the Billboard 200, marking the first album by a female singer to top the Billboard 200 this year.

Her new record, titled ‘hopeless fountain kingdom’, has been sold in 106,000 equivalent album units so far, including 76,000 copies sold in traditional album format, according to Billboard.

Halsey’s lead single from the new album, ‘Now or Never,’ took her straight to the Billboard Hot 100, so AlteRock sends congratulations to the singer on her success in many aspects with ‘hopeless fountain kingdom’.

You can catch Halsey on tour in support of her new album this fall. Be sure to check out her tour plans below. Do you like what we’re doing?
