REAL FRIENDS Announce The $5 Tour, Play Unconventional Venues

1094

Real Friends will be hitting the most unconventional venues on their new tour, with all the tickets for $5

February 8, 2016

Real Friends have announced the most unusual tour you’ve ever heard of: they will be playing all kinds of unusual venues: bowling alleys, skate parks, retail stores, restaurants, record stores, and even batting cages. The tickets for this headlining tour dates only cost $5.

Wth this tour the band wanted to make a statement: venues today are having hard times trying to stay afloat and many have no choice but to shut down altogether; ticket prices are going up, depriving music fans of an opportunity to catch their favorite bands live. By picking unconventional venues, Real Friends are intending to support local music scenes and give all their fans a chance to see their shows. Read the band’s statement and check out the tour dates below. Real Friends’ “labelmates” Movements will be an opening act on this special tour. Tickets are on sale now.

“We are stoked to announce “The $5 Tour.” We will be playing small places that aren’t traditional settings for shows. Some of the venues are skateparks, retail stores, restaurants, record stores, and even batting cages. All ticket prices will be $5. We owe everything to you. It’s time to give back with not only a unique show experience, but an affordable ticket price as well. This will be fun for everyone involved. Being in a band is about having fun and there should be no rules. This will really highlight that. Tickets are VERY limited. Most of the shows have less than 150 total tickets available.”

Real Friends’ new album, the follow-up to 2014’s Maybe This Place Is The Same And We’re Just Changing is expected later this year.
