You never know what to expect from Billy Corgan’s artistic mind and now that Smashing Pumpkins made a comeback, the band and director Nick Koenig chose to give their new single ‘Solara’ a very strange visual rendition. Even though the band reunited, only the frontman appears in the video. No other Smashing Pumpkins members took part in filming ‘Solara’. Well, you can’t blame them: from Corgan on a metal leash to clownish mimes to an insane scene with a girl’s fake giving birth… Which of the scenes is more disturbing for you? Smashing Pumpkins reunited lineup consists of three original members, singer Billy Corgan, guitarist James Iha and drummer Jimmy Chamberlin, as well as guitarist Jeff Schroeder. On tour the band will be joined by bassist Jack Bates and keyboardist Katie Cole.
