‘Machine’ is featured on the band’s new album, V

July 18, 2017

The imaginative London band has surprised us all today with a daunting music video for new single ‘Machine’. The clip abounds with doomy, elaborate computer design, technologically twisted creatures and out-of-this-world industrial shapes, which suck you into a sort of dark trance, enhanced by the powerful flow of music. See if you dare to watch their entire new video in the player below!

‘Machine’ can be found on the band’s upcoming album with a laconic title, V, due for release September 22 (check out the full tracklisting below). As you can see from the visual for ‘Machine’, their latest sound has a lot of new, darker shades to offer, so you’re in for a swirl of sounds that might be overwhelming but never boring.

The album hasn’t come out yet but on the way to its forthcoming release the band has already encountered some drama. A short while ago The Horrors were accused of plagiarism in the artwork for ‘Machine’. Fortunately, the issue dissolved by itself when the artist whose work they had supposedly ripped off took the side of the band.

Since they day The Horros were formed in 2005, the band, led by Palestinian/English vocalist Faris Badwan, has been unstoppable, with four previous studio albums all reaching the UK Top 40. Recently, The Horrors have made a long-awaited live return at London’s Omeara venue, where they also presented a few tracks from the new album.
