P.O.D., have shared their new song ‘Speed Demon’from the upcoming record, The Awakening

Welcome the new song from legendary alternative hard rockers P.O.D., titled ‘Speed Demon’, which is taken from the band’s ninth studio record, The Awakening (due for release on August 21).
The album is the result of collaboration of the group with their longtime producer, Howard Benson (who earlier worked with My Chemical Romance). The record also features special guests Maria Brink from In This Moment and Lou Koller from Sick Of It All.
«I feel this is like a pivotal moment for P.O.D.,» says the band’s drummer Wuv Bernardo. «It’s more than just, ‘Man, we just went in the studio and did a record…’ The urgency of our band, as far as how serious we are putting this kind of material in there and the way that we did it, blows my mind. I am proud of these guys, of us.»
