Smash Mouth frontman Steve Harwell had to cancel the band’s show in Memphis, Tenn. on Thursday night, August 31 and a few other dates. During soundcheck at the venue in Memphis the singer had trouble breathing, TMZ reports. He was rushed to the hospital in an Uber taxi right from the soundcheck. Luckily, Harwell’s situation «was not an emergency situation», and he is now stable, writes Billboard.

Harwell suffers from cardiomyopathy, a heart condition making it difficult for the heart to to deliver blood to the body. The singer has been living with cardiomyopathy for two years, TMZ reveals.
