Green Day’s highly anticipated new album, Revolution Radio, has just been released. It is the follow-up of 2012’s ¡Uno! ¡Dos! ¡Tré!. Stream it below via Spotify and tell us whether the new material has lived up to your expectations.

To premiere the new record, the band has been invited to the studio of the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to present their track ‘Bang, Bang’ (watch below).

Yesterday, Billie Joe Armstrong told NME that progress is being made on the American Idiot film, in which Armstrong will play his Broadway role of St. Jimmy in the film. “That’s the plan right now,” the singer says. “We’ve got the green light from HBO, and the script is going through a couple of rewrites here and there, so I’m not sure when exactly we’re going to start shooting, but it’s definitely all systems go at the moment.”

The punk-rock idols are currently wrapping up their North American tour. After that, Green Day will take some time off until January 2017 and then head over to Europe for another tour leg. Be sure to catch Green Day on tour and check out the band’s delivery of the new tracks live.
