The collab, which you can hardly imagine, saw POISON and *N SYNC singers have “nothing but a good time”

The era of 1980s glam metal would have never been the same without such powerhouses as Poison, Mötley Crüe or Def Leppard. Who hasn’t heard Poison’s legendary ‘Every Rose Has Its Thorn’ or ‘Nothin’ But A Good Time’.

And now imagine how awesome it is to be invited to join your glam metal idols live. But Poision called a very unusual band to have a good time with on stage – boyband legends *N SYNC! Check out the highly unlikely collab below:

Poison vocalist Bret Michaels was joined during the rock show by Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick of *N SYNC to rock the stage with their undying “Nothin’ But A Good Time”. This happened during Poison’s show on Friday the 13th at the Hard Rock Hotel in Hollywood, Florida.

Well, in fact, *N SYNC members seem to have always enjoyed 80s heavy metal. Take, for instance, the romantic comedy On The Line (2011), starring Joey Fatone and Lance Bass. The looking-for-the-record-label young rocker played by Fatone rocked Def Leppard’s classic ‘Pour Some Sugar On Me’, smashing his equipment at the end of every performance. Remember?

Right before Poison’s show, Fatone posted a photo of himself and vocalist Michaels saying he was excited about that night’s gig. And after the show Kirkpatrick posted a comment on their collaboration on Instagram. *N SYNC member revealed Michaels was one of his “favorite rock stars of all time” and he had this collab on his bucket list.

And just like Poison’s song goes, the ex-pop idols and glam rockers had nothing but a good time, jumping all over the stage of the Hard Rock Hotel. Watch more video footage of it below and stay tuned with us on AlteRock Facebook and AlteRock Twitter!
