Canadian punk legends Propagandhi are back, and they’re back for good. The band has announced the release details of the upcoming new album, Victory Lap, which marks their first record in almost five years. They’ve also dropped a strong new single, the title track from the album – give it a listen below!

The highly anticipated LP, Victory Lap, is due out September 29 through Epitaph Records, and judging by the reviews popping up on the web, is the entire album is as good as the title track you’ll hear below.

You haven’t heard from Propagandhi for a while as the band has been silent in terms of writing new music since 2012’s record Failed States. Another thing worth mentioning about Propagandhi’s upcoming album is that the record presents their new guitarist, Sulynn Hago, who replaced their longtime member, David Guillas. However, you’ll find the ex-guitarist on some of the album tracks as well. Guillas now decided to concentrate on teaching, so the band had to look for a replacement.

Hago joined the lineup of Propagandhi after the official auditions, with potential candidates amounting to 400 hopefuls. So we’re all excited to hear the songs with the guitarist the band considered the most skilled and outstanding.
