June 20, 2016
Modern metallers Sonic Syndicate are currently working to on their upcoming sixth album. The band has now shared the second video straight from Ramtitam Studios in Stockholm (see the clip below).
The musicians are describing the process of the album recording step by step in the official blog on their website, which you can follow at this location. The latest update as of June 17 reveals that some of the most important stages of the work are already finished: “Drums, done. Bass, done. Guitars, done. We’re gonna start tidying up the tracks now, ready for next week when we start on the vocals!”
For Sonic Syndicate the new album also marks a new chapter in the band’s life, as last year they parted ways with bassist Karin Axelsson. The vacant place was taken by Michel “Miche” Bärzén (Degradead).
The band’s sixth album is due for release later this year via Despotz Records & Music. Their latest record to date, self-titled fifth album, came out July 4, 2014 via Nuclear Blast.
