At the age of 3, when many of us were happy just singing into the hair brush handle and sitting behind a toy drum set, this boy wouldn’t settle for anything but a set of real drums.

Remembering the good and bad times of the year to be gone soon, metal website Blabbermouth has recollected a unique phenomenon in the drummers’ world – now 8-year-old Avery Molek, whose name has been featured in all rock news media since he turned 2. At the end of 2014, the boy is also looking back at good and bad times… except not his own, but those of Led Zeppelin: Watch the youngest metal drummer cover “Good Times Bad Times”, posted on his YouTube channel on November 30:

Avery keeps shocking those of us who wasn’t able to learn a couple of guitar chords or an elementary drumming technique till our teenage years. Or till our 20-ies. Or till this very day. It seems whatever legendary metal hit he covers on drums, it’s just so effortless and pure fun for this little genius. We’ve seen Molek at age 6 rocking Metallica’s 8-minute-long “Master of Puppets” and “Enter Sandman”, as well as Guns N’ Roses’ hit “Welcome to the Jungle”. We then tracked him pounding to the melody of “Shoot To Thrill” by his other idols, AC/DC, when he was 7 years old.

Last August the boy’s biggest dream came true: he got invited to play with KISS at Acoustic Meet and Greet set at Burgettstown, PA show. Avery says his favorite bands are AC/DC, KISS, Van Halen, RUSH, Metallica, Pantera, Avenged Sevenfold and many more. Watch the boy’s most popular metal covers right here:
