March 25, 2016

Thrice have returned and they are here to stay. The band is now officially back with a new album a new track, titled ‘Blood on the Sand’, their first new song since the lengthy hiatus. Be sure to give it a listen below.

The release of band’s new, highly anticipated album, To Be Everywhere Is To Be Nowhere, is set for a May 27. It’s Thrice’s ninth studio effort, with the previous one, Major/Minor, released back in 2011. The album is available for pre-orders at the band’s official site.

As for the music direction of the new record, drummer Riley Breckenridge recently told Rockcellar Magazine: “I think it’s a logical progression, I would guess. But it definitely draws from the last maybe four records we’ve done, there are elements of Vheissu that I can point to on this record, elements of the Alchemy Index, Beggars, Major/Minor. If you heard those records and then heard the new one you’d be like, ‘oh I can see this being the same band.’

Thrice will jump on a North American headlining tour later this year, with the support from La Dispute and Gates. See the list of tour dates below.
