It’s already tomorrow, Friday, January 20, that AFI’s tenth studio record, AFI (The Blood Album), is coming out. To keep you all on the edge of your seat before the release, Davey Havok and co. have shared the videos of their performances on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

The band set off with playing their new single ‘Snow Cats’. The song was one of the first two tracks, unveiled from the upcoming album, alongside with ‘White Offerings’. Both singles were later made into music videos. Check out the late-night performance of ‘Snow Cats’:

The second track AFI chose to deliver from the stage of Jimmy Kimmel Live! was their breakthrough 2006 classic, ‘Miss Murder’. It was the lead single from their seventh studio album Decemberunderground. You can hear the crowd on Kimmel get lively and sing along on this one. See the performance below and tell us what you think of it in the comments.

In the new interview for the German website Laut the band’s guitarist Jade Puget unveiled that when it came to choosing singles for The Blood Album, it was a really difficult selection:
”Actually, we could have chosen every song. The special thing about this album is that it sounds coherent and homogenous, but each song somehow stands completely for itself. I mean there’s actually no typical single on the album.”
Puget underlines in the interview on how happy he is that AFI’s fire is still burning:
”I am particularly grateful for the fact that we are basically picking up exactly where we left off three years ago. Of course, a lot has changed during this time. But the basis is still there. The fire of the band is still burning, in each one of us. And that is a feeling that makes me incredibly happy.”* (*translated from German).
