The all-encompassing live music video was shot this summer during Vans Warped Tour

Pop punkers Broadside from Richmond, Virginia have shared a music video for the track ‘The Simple Type,’ featured on their 2015′ album Old Bones.
The clip, recorded on this summer’s travelling Vans Warped Tour, gives a complete picture of what the band members are like on stage and behind the scenes.
‘The Simple Type’ was shot during the band’s shows in Virginia Beach, VA and Syracuse, NY.
Describing the song, Broadside vocalist Ollie Baxxter says: “’The Simple Type’ is about living on the edge of your seat. I wrote it about my younger brother. He’s very low key and makes decisions based off initial judgement. He’s one of those people that you sit back and ask how he got so lucky to not over analyze a decision, doesn’t fear any person, and still comes out on top. Like the line says, ‘Shoot first, ask questions last!’”
Broadside set out on a pop punk journey in 2010, and after their debut record they made it to the list of 100 Artists You Need To Know in 2015 by Alternative Press. The band’s latest album to date, Old Bones, dropped in May 2015, which was closely followed by the parting ways with the group’s founding member Bassist Josh Glupker for undisclosed reasons.
