Currently Weekes is planning to continue making music with his band I Don’t Know How But They Found Me

As the year nearing its end, Dallon Weekes has announced that his “time with Panic! has come to an end”, as well. It’s a sad news for the band and its fans, of course, as Weeks has been an essential part of Panic! for nearly a decade. But it’s not like Weekes is planning to quit the music scene and switch to other things: he is the current frontman of another band, I Don’t Know How But They Found Me, and he sees himself going on with his project after leaving Brendon and the Co.

To say goobye the proper way, Weekes posted a thankful message to fans on Wednesday (check it out below):

“For the last eight years, I’ve had the incredible opportunity to perform in Panic! At The Disco,” Weekes wrote on Instagram. “While I’m sad to announce that my time with Panic! has come to an end, I’m excited to continue making music with my new project, I Don’t Know How But They Found Me.”

The musician ended by saying how much Panic! gave him and changed his life:

“I’m grateful for the chance I’ve had to be part of Panic! At The Disco for nearly a decade,” Weekes added of his time with the Brendon Urie-led group. “I will always consider myself indebted to those who made me feel welcome to be a part of P!ATD. You changed my life.”

Weekes’ career in Panic! began in 2009 and after a tour with them became a steady member of the Panic! family. He was part of the album Too Weird To Live, Too Rare To Die! and then hit the road with the group again in 2015. His current own project, launched in 2016, features ex-Falling In Reverse drummer Ryan Seaman.
