At #20 of 39 countries to perform altogether is our Greek goddess Stefania!
Here are five fun facts you need to know about her:
- You know her as simply Stefania. The singer’s full name is Stefania Liberakakis (Greek: Στεφανία Λυμπερακάκη). Stefania is Greek-Dutch, born and raised in Utrecht, so she probably knows Rotterdam like the fingers of her hands!
- Not only Malta’s Destiny an ex-Junior Eurovision contestant. She is an ex-member of the girl group Kisses, which represented the Netherlands in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2016:
- Stefania is only 18 years (and five months) old, which makes her the youngest participant of Eurovision 2021! Just slightly younger than Malta’s Destiny, who’s also 18.
- The singer also took part in The Voice Kids in 2013. She covered Alicia Keys’ song “No One” at the blind auditions. One of the judges, Marco Borsato, turn his chair, but soon afterwards she was eliminated.
- Stefania loves doing covers in her everyday life. She sang Dua Lipa’s “New Rules”, Stevie Wonder and Arianna Grande’s “Faith” and Kygo’s “Stargazing”. With her ex-boyfriend Jannes she also covered “Over And Over Again” by Nathan Sykes and Arianna Grande. Check it out here:
