From folk sirtaki dance to TikTok-like camera frame, Marina Satti gave us all the dice sides of Greece – see our gallery

Eurovision Song Contest 2024 wouldn’t be the same without the dancy sirtaki-filled performance from Marina Satti. Marina represented her country, Greece, in Sweden and made it to the Grand Final despite being sick with pharyngitis and high fever during the semi-final.

In the final, Marina’s song ‘Zari’ got her the well-deserved 11th place with a total of 126 points. A unique feature of her performance was filming most of it in a single camera shot, yet we never got bored during those three minutes of “ta-ta-ta”.

This year’s Eurovision trophy went to Swiss singer Nemo with the song ‘The Code’, so Eurovision 2025 will be hosted in Switzerland. The host city is currently in discussion, with 4 cities officially putting in their applications for next year: St. Gallen, Basel, Geneve and Zürich.
