“Exclusive music and visuals through physical installations” await Gorillaz fans

The pop-up experience Spirit House will travel to NYC, Berlin and Amsterdam in April and May, and the best part is that Gorillaz fans can sign up for free tickets to visit it (go here for more information).
Gorillaz united forces with Sonos to create the Spirit House, which they describe as “an immersive, high fidelity experience” with “exclusive music and visuals through physical installations and projection mapping technology”.

If you’ve seen Gorillaz latest music video for the comeback track ‘Saturn Barz’, you have an idea of what the Spirit House is all about. In case you’re not one of 20 million viewers who have watched the video on YouTube, check out the record-breaking ‘Saturn Barz’ below.
Spirit House will open its doors in Brooklyn, NYC April 21-23, then fly to Europe to unfold in Berlin April 28-30, and wrap up in Amsterdam on May 6. And that’s not all Gorillaz have in store for their army of fans. They’ve also announced their own Demon Dayz Festival, which will take place at the amusement park Dreamland in Margate, England on June 10. The line-up is to be confirmed.
Damon Albarn-led group recently announced their comeback fifth studio album, Humanz. The video for ‘Saturn Barz’ has broken YouTube record for the best ever VR debut and has been watched 20 million times in less than 2 weeks.
