Grammy Nominees 2016: Ghost, Lamb or God, Slipknot, Foo Fighters + More

August Burns Red, Ghost, Lamb of God, Sevendust, Slipknot, and Foo Fighters are among 58th Grammy Award nominees

December 8, 2015

The board of 2016 Grammy Awards has announced the nominees for the upcoming annual ceremony. One of the candidates in the category Best Rock Performance is Foo Fighters with their song ‘Something From Nothing’, while the list of the nominees in the category Best Metal Performance looks like this:

August Burns Red, “Identity”
Ghost, “Cirice”
Lamb of God, “512”
Sevendust, “Thank You”
Slipknot, “Custer”

All competing songs in the list are strong and deserve the award no doubt, so it’s hard to predict who Grammy judges will consider the most outstanding this time. But as we were pretty damn right about last year’s winner in the same category, we would like to make an assumption that Ghost will take home the award this time, since ‘Cirice’ is a notable, melodic and even disturbing track, which can hardly be ignored.
