‘Siren Charms’, In Flames latest album to date, dropped on September 9, 2014 and sold 9,000 copies in its first week, taking it to #26 in Billboard 200. The release was followed by extensive touring. However, lately there have been hot debates on social media as to which songs the band shall include into their tour setlist.

In the interview for Kaaos TV as of October 16, when asked about the fans debates, frontman Anders Fridén revealed he does not follow social media: “I don’t have Facebook myself,” Fridén said (transcribed by Blabbermouth). “I don’t read what’s going on. I hear what you journalists say, ’cause, I mean, I don’t find time to watch everything everybody writes. But there will always be a debate, I know… I don’t wanna play the same thing again and again and again, and I thought doing a club tour like this, it would be a good time to change some of the songs.”

In Flames vocalist went on to say that since last year’s release of the album ‘Siren Charms’ they have been touring non-stop. “I’m happy. I’m still doing what I love, which is creating music and playing my songs in a lot of continents. So I’m stoked… There’s people that love us, there’s people that hate us — just the way it should be… I’m not here to please people. I’m here to deliver good melodies. And if you like it, fine. If you don’t, I can’t help you.” Watch the full interview below.
