“I’m here on borrowed time”, – Jonas Lovv talks about embracing the Eurovision world and its community

Norway’s Jonas Lovv will be chanting “Ya Ya Ya” on the legendary Eurovision stage in Vienna. We sat down with the charismatic Norwegian singer to find out what he thinks of Eurovision as a contest and Eurovision community, and what kind of person he is off stage.

In this heartfelt interview, Jonas told us about the importance of creating an intimate, small club atmosphere during his performances. He is convinced that the shows are not just for the artist or just for the public, it’s a joint effort.

“When I look into the camera, I want you to know that I’m looking directly at you, and I’m wishing that you were here with me,” says the singer.

He also unveiled that he is not cross with any Eurovision fan not liking his song and totally understands that it’s just a matter of music preferences, not hate towards him on a personal level. “But, boy, if you on my team, we’re gonna have a great great time!”, he promised his devoted fans.

We also used the opportunity to ask Jonas about his favourites from the Nordic pre-party of Eurovision, which took place over the weekend. Watch the interview below and find out who of the fellow Eurovision artists from other countries he cliqued with.
