Of Mice & Men have just unveiled a five-episode documentary series, ‘The Full Circle Story’, through their website. You can watch the trailer below to get an idea of what you’re about to see in the documentary. The first episode of ‘The Full Circle Story’ is already available for viewing to members of Of Mice & Men’s fan club, The Ampersand. New episodes will be launched every Monday.
The series was directed by Jon Stone and contains the footage of the band shot over the past couple of years. You’ll see Of Mice & Men’s live show and backstage materials on their tour in support of Restoring Force album, where the band shared the stage with Metallica, Linkin Park and Queens of the Stone Age. The documentary includes a lot of behind the scenes videos: the band’s interviews, jokes and just fooling around backstage.
“The Full Circle Story offers the viewer an incredibly unique perspective—our perspective,” says bassist Aaron Pauley. “The five-part series takes the viewer on a wild international journey through our past few years, as seen through our eyes. It also showcases some of our favorite moments since the release of Restoring Force, complete with live footage from shows played around the world and interviews from the band. With the help of our friend Jon Stone, The Full Circle Story captures what it’s like to be in Of Mice & Men, and we can’t wait to share that experience with our fans in a way we never have before.” (via Lourwire)
As many know, Of Mice & Men’s touring was cut short last year when co-vocalist Austin Carlile needed surgery and recovery time to deal with his ongoing battle with Marfan Syndrome. “It’s been an extreme past half year of broken ribs, head, hips and tour dates,” says Carlile. “After initial surgeries, followed by more medical exams & tests and physical therapy multiple times a week, the last few months have been a real hurdle for me mentally and physically. Now that we’ve reached the other side, I’m ready to get the relentless machine that is Of Mice & Men back on track.”
Of Mice & Men will head to the studio in March to record their new album, then fly across the ocean to Europe for Slamdunk and Rock Am Ring/Rock Im Park festivals. The rest of the summer Of Mice & Men will be opening for Slipknot and Marilyn Manson in America, plus they will perform at a few American rock festivals, including Chicago Open Air Festival. “Tell everyone you know, Of Mice & Men is back,” the band concludes.
