Of Mice & Men frontman Austin Carlile was recently interviewed by Metal Hammer and asked about his surgeries throughout 2015 and the band’s plans for next year. Carlile shared that despite his health state which doesn’t allow him to return to stage yet, he’s not being idle these days. While undergoing physical therapy, he is also busy writing new music for the band’s next album.

“My body’s not ready to be back on the road, which is fine, because guess what I’m doing right now? Physical therapy and writing music, and this next album…”, says Carlile. “I thought I had ammo for the last one, but on this one it’s tenfold! It’s awesome to have something like Of Mice & Men to pour these experiences into and to share my story with people that are dealing with that same stuff.”
