February 3, 2017

Last year we enjoyed the result of Fall Out Boy’s collaboration with Missy Elliot on the soundtrack for the remake of Ghostbusters, but this time the band’s frontman Patrick Stump is going solo: he wrote and sang on the new soundtrack for The Lego Batman Movie. Give it a listen below!

Stump’s voice was modified to become the hero’s singing voice for ‘Who’s the (Bat)Man’, and some fans have already commented that they like the new movie song more than recent Fall Out Boy tracks. The Lego Batman Movie is one of the most anticipated animated pictures of 2017.

Fall Out Boy took to Instagram to write: “When you’re young you always dream of being your favorite super hero…lucky for @patrickstump he got to lay his vocals down and become Batman’s singing voice in the upcoming @legobatmanmovie.”

In addition, Stump has also recorded the soundtrack for The Incredible Hulk Coaster. The singer couldn’t be more excited about this opportunity:

“I think I opened the e-mail and started composing instantly”, he said. “I was ecstatic to have an opportunity not only to score for such a legendary creation (I’m a big fan of Marvel) but also to compose for a full 70 piece orchestra,” said Stump, regarding the project.
