Puddle of Mudd singer Wes Scantlin does not cease to surpise mass media. Last week the musician was arrested in Beverly Hills, California, as a result of a simple check during a routine traffic stop. Initially pulled over for expired registration tags, Scantlin ended up in jail as the officers had dicovered unspecified controlled substance in his car.
The police also found out there was a warrant out for the singer’s arrest, according to TMZ report, so the presence of the controlled substance led to misdemeanor drug charges, and Scatlin was sent to jail. Luckily for him, he was bailed out a few hours later for $51,000.
As Rolling Stone reports, it’s the fourth time this year that Puddle Of Mudd singer got arrested. First, in January, Scantlin entertained us quite a lot when he took a ride on the airport baggage carousel in Denver. The joyride resulted in his arrest. It was only thanks to a Puddle of Mudd fan that the show that night didn’t get cancelled. The loyal fan bailed the vocalist out.
Then, in July, Scantlin had his piece of fun in Minnesota as he was escaping from the police chase, driving his car at over 100 miles per hour. The blood alcohol level showed figure .310, which is about four times the amount of Minnesota state’s legal limit. The incident ended up with charges with DUI and fleeing the police pursuit. Soon after that episode, Wes Scantlin was arrested for driving under the influence again, as well as for marijuana possession in South Dakota, to then be bailed out again right before Puddle of Mudd’s concert. Not to mention Scantlin’s earlier charges and arrests, prior to 2015.
Since the new year is knocking on the door, this might be a good time for the vocalist to make some serious resolutions. Having a little rock’n’roll fun and jumping onto the airport baggage belt is one story but risking your own life and the lives of other people on the road is something you don’t want to joke about.
