Estonian doctors advised the drummer to discontinue the tour after his foot injury
Asking Alexandria’s fans in the Baltic states were about to see the British band live for the first time ever but it wasn’t meant to happen. The group’s show in Estonia was cancelled on the same day. It was due to the fact the band’s drummer, James Cassells, injured his foot. The following morning (Tue, June 27) the musicians dropped the sad news, saying they were forced to cancel the rest of their European tour.

The members of Asking Alexandria took to social media to explain what happened and underline it’s with a heavy heart that they are cancelling the remaining shows:
“After seeing another specialist here in Estonia it has been advised that James rests his broken foot. Playing drums is just not an option for him at this current time.
With that being said we have been given no choice but to cancel the rest of this European tour.
Our main concern now is getting James back on his feet and playing drums again without causing any long term damage in the process,” the band wrote.
But we’re sure, as soon as Asking Alexandria’s drummer recovers fully, the band will get back on the road. Their eighth full-length studio album, titled Where Do We Go From Here?, is coming out this fall via Better Noise Music. The album’s debut metalcore track, ‘Dark Void’, dropped in May and already garnered five million streams.
The success of the new record didn’t stop there. Last week the band launched the first official radio single ‘Psycho’, followed by ‘Bad Blood’. The official music video for the former one has been viewed over 300,000 times so far.
