You have already two new songs from Ride’s upcoming record: ‘Charm Assault’ and ‘Home Is A Feeling’, and today they’ve also unveiled a technicolour music video for the former. ‘Charm Assault’ was directed by Anton Newcombe and Jean de Oliveira – take a look below.

Ride’s previous album, Tarantula, was released back in March 1996, but it was closely followed by the group’s breakup later that year. Ride had an official reunion in 2014, and we’ll be able to enjoy their new effort soon.

Being interviewed on Ride’s reunion, Mark Gardener, the band’s singer and guitarist, told NME:
“People bought our records first time round, but our music has grown in significance since we’ve been away… We want to give the people what they want. We’d be idiots to go out and play a new album, but that’s not to say we wouldn’t make new music.”
The forthcoming album, Weather Diaries, is produced by Erol Alkan (Franz Ferdinand, Kindness) and mixed by Alan Moulder, also known for his collaboration with Arctic Monkeys and The Killers.

Ride have also recently announced their North American live dates for 2017: in July, they will give a short tour leg, with shows in Toronto, Boston, New York, and Philadelphia among other locations. Check out the dates and locations below.
