SAINT ASONIA, a brand new band featuring ex-THREE DAYS GRACE singer Adam Gontier and STAIND guitarist Mike Mushok share the first ‘Making-Of’ episode
June 18, 2015
There’s been surprisingly little information available about the brand new band Saint Asonia, whose lineup includes ex-Three Days Grace and Staind members, apart from the first single, ‘Better Place’ the group recently released (listen to the track below). Finally, the band has posted the first of a series of webisodes featuring behind-the-scenes footage showing the making of Saint Asonia’s debut album.
“I have a tonne of songs I’ve written over the years,” Adam Gontier reveals in the video. “…and Mike also has a pile of music: songs, and riffs, and parts that are just awesome. So we would just put our ideas together, just flush them out perfectly, and that’s sort of how it’s done so far”.
Apart from singer Adam Gontier, the former frontman of Three Days Grace, and Staind’s current guitarist Mike Mushok, the new band includes Stuck Mojo and Dark New Day bassist Corey Lowery and Finger Eleven drummer Rich Beddoe. Saint Asonia will present their debut album later this summer. The band played live first time ever at Rock On The Range in Columbus, Ohio a couple of weeks ago.
