“Goddamn, it’s good to be back!”, Seether say on their return with the new album

What a fruitful end of the month for Seether! Just a few days ago the South African rock band announced their seventh studio album, Poison The Parish, and today Seether have added that they are heading on a massive headlining tour in support of the upcoming record. See the dates below!
The group’s new album will hit the stores on May 12, and it has a special place in the musicians’ hearts as Poision The Parish is a self-produced effort, a resulf of hard work of Seether’s vocalist and guitarist Shaun Morgan.
Seether are also bringing their good friend from Sevendust – guitarist, Clint Lowery – to accompany them in the course of the whole tour. Introducing the tour, the Mogran exclaims:

By the way, proceeds from ticket sale on this tour will partly also go to the Rise Above fund, a subset of Suicide Awareness Voices of Education. The charity effort got its name, Rise Above This, from Seether’s song lyrics talking about Morgan’s brother committing suicide.
On tour Seether will be opened by Letters From The Fire, Through Fire, Kaleido and Big Story. The band promises the shows to be “loud, heavy, old school Seether with a couple of twists”:

Poison The Parish was recorded at Blackbird Studio in Nashville, Tennessee, and features 12 songs. The new album is already available for pre-orders. Talking about the concept, Morgan reveals it was influenced by celebrity brainwashing through social media: “Completely vapid and useless as far as their contributions to society. People buy lipgloss from a girl who didn’t have lips a few years ago. It doesn’t make any sense to me.”
