Though the song is a tribute to New Jersey’s Asbury Park, the video captures the band’s show in Brooklyn

Philadelphia’s punk-rockers The Menzingers have premiered a music video for their new single ‘Lookers,’ the lead single of the upcoming album After The Party. Interestingly, the song lyrics reminisce the moments the band spent in Jersey’s Asbury Park, the clip actually catches their show at Brooklyn venue The Knitting Factory. Anyhow, the music video for ‘Lookers’ is as catchy as the track itself, so be sure to give it a look below.
There’s a reason why ‘Lookers’ looks back at The Menzingers’ memories of Asbury Park. “We have a very close connection with the Asbury Park scene,” explains lead singer Greg Barnet. “It’s like a second home for the band, and ‘Lookers’ is a little love story about all the fond memories of the times we’ve spent there.”
The band has recently announced their 2017 tour dates with Jeff Rosenstock and Rozwell Kids. Plus, to round off the current year, the band will be performing at the annual festival at the Scranton Cultural Center with Tigers Jaw, Captain We’re Sinking, and others on December 17.
The Menzingers’ highly anticipated fifth album After the Party is set for release early next year, February 3 through Epitaph Records. And judging by the lead single, ‘Lookers’, the band’s upcoming record has a lot to offer.
