Celebrating their 20-year music path, Uniklubi have launched a dance-along single ‘Bailaten koko elämä’
Finland’s legendary (yet young!) alt-rockers Uniklubi are celebrating the 20-year anniversary of the band this year, and have got awesome news to share. Just a couple of months after the release of their last single ‘Huojuva silta’ the group is launching another song, ‘Bailaten koko elämä’. The title of the new song literally means ‘celebrating the whole life’.
The new, party-oriented track has come out together with a music video. ‘Bailaten koko elämä’, filmed by director Jarkko Tiitinen, is an uncomplicated clip, showing girls chilling, partying, drinking and dancing. Well, after all the song talks about celebration. Surprisingly, the video only shows girls having fun, never guys (apart from rare visuals of Uniklubi’s singer).
Check out the song and its music video below:
“We gave Jarko total freedom, and the result is as crazy as the song ‘Bailaten koko elämä'”, says Uniklubi vocalist Jussi Selo. But he also warns not to take the song too seriously: “The song is supposed to be ironic,” he points out.
The band can’t believe they’ve been around for two decades already:
“It sounds crazy to think that 20 years have already passed since Pasi and I recorded a C-cassette of our first demos. So much has happened in this period of time,” says the singer. “But the fire and passion to band stuff that we had as “newbies” hasn’t gone anywhere, fortunately.”
Uniklubi have recently joined forces with the new producer, Rauli Eskolin. He previously worked with mega-successful Finnish bands, such as Apocalyptica and Haloo Helsinki!, and can surely add his own touch to the Uniklubi’s sound.

At the moment, Uniklubi are gearing up for a few tour dates in Finland, and they are offering fans to “influence” the set list and request their favorite songs throughout the whole Uniklubi discography.
But we’ve saved the best news for later. In 2020 Uniklubi are set to release their new studio album. Are you excited? Because we totally are!
