‘Loud Legacy’ by Loudwire is a 45-minute story of HIM, going through all the albums and talking Valo’s past addictions and relationships

Loudwire has posted a 45-minute ‘Loud Legacy’ documentary, telling the life of mysterious HIM frontman Ville Valo. The video is hosted by Loudwire’s Graham ‘Gruhamed’ Hartmann, who takes us on a long trip from the first years of HIM story, which started in 1991, all the way up to this moment.
The singer reveals previously unknown details about each of HIM’s eight albums, goes into the meanings behind his lyrics, talks about his friendship with Bam Margera (‘Jackass’), and last but not least, casts the light on his failed past relationships. HIM’s fans can see how Ville Valo went through the sex-drugs-&-rock’n’roll phase in his career, learned life’s bitter lessons the hard way, and ultimately, grew as an individual.
