Panic! at the Disco is one of very few bands who choose to look at the brighter side of things and praise never giving up and going for your goal. Today, Brendon Urie and co. have released an inspirational track ‘High Hopes’ from the group’s upcoming album, Pray for the Wicked.

The new album from Panic! at the Disco is just a month away, and in ‘High Hopes’ the band clearly continues the mood of the previous album, Death of a Bachelor. But the new songs definitely seem lighter, more upbeat and less intense. Here is what Urie wrote about ‘High Hopes’ and its message on Twitter:
“I spent too long not setting my expectations high enough, worried about how it felt to fail. I hit a point when I realized I had to aim high and fail, fail, fail in order to keep growing. This one is for all of you who helped me go for it all.”
Being such a motivating track with an arena potential, ‘High Hopes’ will also be featured in the NHL’s promotional campaign for 2018 finals (via Billboard), so you’ll get to hear much more of it in the next days.
Listen to the new song below. It’s the third track Panic! are sharing from their forthcoming studio album, Pray for the Wicked, due out June 22 on Fueled By Ramen/DCD2 Records.
