The European tour, promoting their new album, features some rare back-to-back, two-night shows in European cities
UK alt-rock legends Muse have officially unveiled a massive autumn/winter arena run titled The Wow! Signal Europa Tour. With tickets going on sale in the coming days, the trio is prepping to play major cities in the UK and Europe during November and December of 2026. This news comes after the launch of their latest single, ‘Nightshift Superstar’ and ahead of the upcoming tenth studio album The Wow! Signal, due out 26 June 2026.

The band’s European fans will have to be patient to see the British icons live, as Muse will spend July and August playing across North American arenas, but the ticket sale for the upcoming European tour dates is just around the corner. The official ticket pre-sale starts next week, on Wednesday, June 17. The general public sale will follow on June 19. The “Europa Tour” will include massive venues like The O2 in London and the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam, featuring rare back-to-back, two-night stands in most of the cities on their route.
Describing the upcoming record The Wow! Signal, Muse called its theme “a mix of cosmic mystery, existential hope, and the exhilarating possibility of contact with something far greater than ourselves”. In their press release, Matt Bellamy, Chris Wolstenholme and Dominic Howard explained the new album takes its title from one of the most puzzling interstellar phenomena of the last century – “a powerful 72-second radio burst detected in 1977 originating from the constellation Sagittarius with a bandwidth and intensity that suggested a possible extraterrestrial source”.
“The astronomer who discovered the anomaly famously circled the now-iconic sequence ‘6EQUJ5’ and wrote ‘WOW!’ on the printout beside it – giving the signal its name and cementing its place in scientific and pop-culture lore,” the band says.
So far, five singles have been released ahead of the upcoming album. Muse first gave their fans a taste of the new record as early as in June 2025, introducing ‘Unravelling’. It was followed earlier this year by the lead track ‘Be With You’, unveiled alongside the album announcement. Next came dynamic high-energy single ‘Cryogen’ that debuted live at Brixton Academy in April and a month later – ‘Hexagons’ on May 19, 2026. The most recent addition is the French house-inspired disco track ‘Nightshift Superstar’, which you can give a listen below.
It is worth pointing out that ‘Nightshift Superstar’, which dropped on June 9, shows a new side to Muse’s sound. The song features real performers including a full string section and a choir ensemble from the Crouch End Festival Chorus — and the kids choir parts feature Matt’s own daughter, Lovella. In the NRJ France interview Bellamy called it “the best Muse track we’ve ever made in terms of disco,” adding:
“It’s a matter of balance with my voice — finding the right tone, the right vibe, and the right groove. It’s quite difficult for a rock band to explore that kind of territory.”
