The band will hit the road for an extrensive tour run, including Chicago, Boston, Atlanta, Dallas, San Diego and more.

AFI don’t cease to show their inner fire. Californian punk rock/alt-rock staples are hitting the road this fall for a massive North tour with special guests TR/ST. The tour will kick off on September 30 in Madison, Wisconsin. The upcoming U.S. trek will be the band’s first full-scale tour since 2021’s Bodies.

The band, whose lineup remains consistent since 1998, Davey Havok on lead vocals, Jade Puget on guitars, Hunter Burgan on bass, and Adam Carson on drums, will perform in as many as 24 cities, including Chicago, Brooklyn, Boston, Atlanta, Dallas, Denver and San Diego. The road will then take them all the way to Mexico City for the festival Corona Capital. Whether the upcoming tour is an indication of a possible new album remains to be seen.

The band’s most recent live shows were 2023′ Sing the Sorrow gig, playing the iconic album in its entirety for the 20th anniversary, as well as opening for Green Day on their Saviors Tour in Australia in March this year and for Linkin Park on select dates of their 2025′ From Zero tour.

Tickets for the U.S. fall tour dates went on pre-sale today, June 25, and on general sale Friday, June 27 at 10 a.m. local time at this location. The band’s UK/European fans are also wondering when the group makes it to the other side of the Atlantic. AFI’s last tour in the UK was back in May 2017, when they supported Deftones on their tour leg.
