Urie couldn’t be any more excited about his upcoming role as Charlie Price in kinky red boots:
“I’m very excited to announce that I’m joining the cast of Kinky Boots this summer on Broadway. That’s crazy to say because it’s been on my bucket list for the longest time, and it really is a dream come true,” the singer proudly announced. “Plus you guys get to see me in those heels now, so that’s pretty cool. I really hope you guys make it out.”
When Urie’s saw the show for the first time, he knew immediately he wanted to be part of it:

“What drew me to the show was when I saw it, I knew I wanted to be a part of it. It moved me so much, that end moment, the finale. I felt like, I want to get up and shout and celebrate life. That feeling resonated within me, and I wanted to be a part of it. The message is so clear. It’s so relatable,” Urie confessed in a behind-the-scenes video (via Broadway.com).
