Foo Fighters gave one of the most spectacular performances at BRIT Awards with ‘The Sky Is a Neighborhood’

February 21, 2018

The 38th Brit Awards ceremony 2018 has just finished at London’s O2 tonight, February 21, hosted by comedian Jack Whitehall. Though it mostly focuses on British artists, particularly in pop genre, the Brits also give a nod to big international acts. The title of this year’s Best International Group went to Foo Fighters, who beat Arcade Fire and The Killers. Congrats, guys!

International Group:
Foo Fighters – WINNER!
Arcade Fire
LCD Soundsystem
Haim
The Killers

It’s Foo Fighters’ fifth BRIT Award to date. In his speech, Dave Grohl paid tribute to the UK. The band also took the stage to perform their song ‘The Sky Is a Neighborhood,’ and the format they’ve chosen made one of the most spectacular moments of the night. Watch it below!

The band were playing on the roof of the house, constructed right on the BRIT Awards stage. The house and props created a cordial, fairy talish atmosphere, visualizing the lyrics of ‘The Sky Is a Neighborhood.’ The lights and camerawork make watching Foo Fighters even more unforgettable. The performance was a strong contrast to Dua Lipa’s ‘New Rules’ right before it and is guaranteed to leave a long-lasting memory.
