The video shows famous TikTok dancer Rampage gliding down Las Vegas streets, exploring its colorful nightlife

Angels & Airwaves have released a visually arresting, colorful music video for ‘Losing My Mind’. According to the musicians, it’s inspired by the COVID-19 pandemic and what happened throughout 2020. The band, comprised of Tom DeLonge, David Kennedy, Ilan Rubin and Matt Rubano, decided to choose shiny Las Vegas as its setting, while the song lyrics are far from light-hearted:

I live on the edge I must be losing my mind
Get out of my head, it’s now the scene of a crime
This world is on fire, and I am ice
Can’t balance things lately, I think we’re going to die

‘Losing My Mind’ stars frontman Tom DeLonge as his alter ego Disco, taking us back to blink-182’s legendary ‘First Date’, plus, a famous TikTok dancer, Rampage. Hoping to become a new TikTok star, Disco sings on the streets, while Rampage dances in his signature style. But things aren’t going according to the plan…

Lyrically, the song covers a wide range of issues, from racism to terrorism to the hardships of the COVID-19 pandemic:

“I wanted to write a song about a totally insane idea that would never happen. Like, what if our own country was being torn apart by racists, a pandemic and domestic terrorism, but all at the same time, you know, just normal made-up shit that would never happen.”

The latest single ‘Losing My Mind’ picks it up from Angels & Airwaves’ recent works: ‘Rebel Girl’, ‘Kiss & Tell’, ‘Restless Souls’ and ‘Euphoria’. The new music video also has a director’s cut version, which you can enjoy on the band’s website. Check out the video and the band’s tour dates of the upcoming world tour kicking off at the end of September.
