New Years Day decide to use a portion of the money from the auction to help the animal rescue

We just can’t help it: once again the Tweet of the Day title is well deserved by New Years Day and their singer Ash Costello. The recent small eBay auction held by the band has been so unexpectedly fruitful that the frontwoman Ash Costello has tweeted today that a portion of the money will go to buy blankets for the animal rescue in Orange County, California.
The tweet reads, “Since I did not expect my eBay to go up as much as it did, I’m taking a portion of the money to buy blankets for the OC animal rescue”. Wise decision, Ash!
Judging by the fans’ tweets underneath, they also seem to be very happy that they’ve purchased some New Years Day exclusive items.
