A couple of days before the Grand Final we sat down with Mahmood and Blanco for a short interview
Mahmood and Blanco are representing Italy in the Grand Final of Eurovision Song Contest 2022 this Saturday, May 14 with the song ‘Brividi’. The contest is taking place in Turin, Italy, after last year’s triumphant victory of punk rockers Måneskin.
‘Brividi’ won the biggest Italian music festival Sanremo 2022 and made over 3.3 million streams in the first 24 hours, becoming the most-streamed song in a single day on Spotify in Italy. It’s been firmly sitting at position #2 in Eurovision betting odds, which means Italy has a chance to either win or be in Top 5 of the Eurovision score table twice in a row.
