Following the Grand Final of Eurovision 2023, EBU published all the jury and televote scores, and they are brutal!

A couple of hours after the end of the grandiose final show of Eurovision 2023, Eurovision Broadcasting Committee unveiled the official scoreboard of both semi-finals, which had taken place on May 9 and 11. While bookies’ and fans’ predictions of the first semi-final results were extremely accurate, the second semi-final had quite a few surprises up its sleeve. To some, obviously, disappointing.

The second semi-final of Eurovision Song Contest had more contrasting results than the first semi. To start with, not one but two countries landed dead last with zero points from both the jury and the public. The participants in question are Theodor Andrei of Romania with his song ‘D.G.T.’ and Piqued Jacks of San Marino with ‘Like An Animal’.

As to the other four non-qualifiers, most media and Eurovision bloggers have a hard time processing the news that gorgeous vocals from Iru (Georgia) did not get appreciated enough to make it to the Grand Final. Now, looking at the revealed scoreboard, it came to light that the next country that could have made it, that is, landed #11, is Iceland, whose charismatic strong vocalist Diljá competed with an energetic pop song ‘Power’.

The semi-final’s overall winner and televotes’ favorite turned out to be the heavy metal band. We are talking about Australia and its contender Voyager, promising us that “everything is gonna be alright”. See their live semi-final performance and the scoreboard below and share your thoughts.
