It’s the first new music from Waterparks since the release of their fifth album

Waterparks are giving us colorful splash and fun in their new single ‘SNEAKING OUT OF HEAVEN’, following their latest record, INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY, released back in April.

The official music video for the single, directed by Jawn Rocha and Awsten Knight, shows the band vocalist strangely trying to blend in with the green grass he’s lying on (the brightness of Knight’s red hair, obviously, impedes with that mission).

The group is experimenting not only with camouflage but also with their current sound, transcending the boundaries of pop punk. “We grew up loving and still loving blink-182, Green Day, Sum 41, and Good Charlotte, so it’s in our DNA to a degree, but I just don’t want that [pop-punk] label because it’s so synonymous with the past and what cynical dickheads or mega naysayers say is just for preteens and kids,” Knight explains.

In February 2024 the band is hitting the road with a lengthy North American headline tour, titled the SNEAKING OUT OF HEAVEN TOUR, with Loveless as support. Concert tickets go on sale Oct 20 at 10 a.m. local time here.
