The ticket sale for My Chemical Romance tour was launched this past Friday, November 15, and all 10 dates sold out in a matter of a few hours, amassing the band an impressive 365,000 tickets. Considering the demand, the band even had to add an additional show in Los Angeles at Dodger Stadium for July 27. However, many MCR fans cannot get over the fact how much their idols charge for the admission.

Even standard admission tickets surpassed a 200-dollar mark, fans point out in shock. “The cheapest MCR tickets being $230 is actually so upsetting,” writes one fan, regarding MCR prices for their show in Fenway Park in Boston, Massachusetts. “What crack are you smoking @Ticketmaster?” – exclaims the other on Twitter.

Fans who managed to snatch the tickets are obviously still over the moon but it’s still mixed feelings:

“Successfully got tickets to see MCR next year!! These are easily the most expensive concert tickets I’ve ever bought,” a fan admits. I could not believe how high they were priced lol A bit absurd imo but they are my favorite band so it’ll be worth it 😊✌️ I can’t wait!!”.

In addition to the original ticket pricing, once the tour was sold out, fans found many tickets listed on resale sites at much higher prices than originally offered. Whether it’s the band, Ticketmaster or the venue fees to blame, MCR fans wish their favorite musicians would do something about this ticketing situation.
