February 27, 2017
Foo Fighters have given their first show in over a year. At what turned out to be a secret show at the Cheese & Grain in Frome, Somerset, Dave Grohl and co. had a couple of surprises for the audience.
Fans had a unique chance to hear the band’s two brand new songs, ‘Keep Your Pretty Promise to Yourself’, and ‘Run With Me’. Check out the snippets of both new tracks straight from the secret gig:

Moreover, the band performed their song ‘Sean’ for the first time live at the same venue. See the live footage of the debut of ‘Sean’ below.
You’re probably wondering what kind of secret show in England that was. It turns out, the gig was Foo Fighters’ way to celebrate the announcement of their headlining status at UK’s Glastonbury 2017 with Radiohead. The band was about to headline Glastonbury in 2015 but had to cancel back then when Grohl broke his leg in Sweden that summer.
Plus, the band has just announced three summer gigs:
26 June – Budapest, Hungary – Budapest Arena
27 June – Prague, Czech Republic – O2 Arena
3 July – Paris, France – AccorHotels Arena
There’s been a bit of a drought since Foo Fighters put out their last album Sonic Highways (2014), so fans can’t wait to hear the new music from the band. In the meantime, enjoy the fragments of the new songs above and ‘Sean’ debut below and share your impressions.
