BRENDON URIE Kills It on The Ellen Show, Adds Cabaret Touch to ‘Death of a Bachelor’

Panic! At The Disco singer enriched his performance of ‘Death of a Bachelor’ with a theatrical scenery

Panic! At The Disco’s frontman had an opportunity to shine on The Ellen Show with the title track from his latest effort Death of a Bachelor. In addition to delivering stunning vocals, nailing higher and higher pitch with every new TV appearance, Brendon Urie has brightened up the stage by setting a cabaret scene.

The set fits the performance like a glove. There’s a bit of acting and a top-notch dance routine, and for a few moments Urie lets the dance couples take the stage, creating the feel of a real musical happening on stage. Watch it below.

And we have a feeling Urie might soon come up with the design of a whole musical to Panic! At The Disco’s tracks (and star in it himself, of course, both as a singer and a dancer). Are we reading your mind, Brendon?

Death Of Bachelor came out in January 2016 and has now reached a platinum status. It has also been nominated for a Grammy as the Best Rock Album (which we believe Panic! will win hands down, since the band has recently been announced the highest-earning on Spotify). This Sunday, February 12, the Staples Center in Los Angeles will be hosting the 59th Grammys (turn on CBS for the live broadcast), and this one is not to be missed!

Moreover, this Sunday Urie will be helping present the first Grammy awards of the day at the Recording Academy / Grammys Premiere Ceremony. Tune in at 12:30pm PST/3:30pm EST on grammy.com/live.
