If some of you are contemplating where true punk rock has gone, longing for good old times of over-the-top energy-filled punk, stop to watch Sum 41’s latest live performance.

Just a couple of days before their comeback album, 13 Voices, comes out, Sum 41 dropped the video of their guest appearance at Stephen Colbert’s The Late Show. It’s as classic-Sum-41 as it could possibly be: the band rocks the studio with their ‘Fake My Own Death’ TV debut (see below).

New album 13 Voices is scheduled for release on October 7 via Hopeless Records, with pre-orders already available now. This will be the band’s first album in five years since the release of their previous effort, Screaming Bloody Murder. Sum 41 have already put out 3 tracks from the new record: ‘Fake My Own Death,’ ‘War’ and ‘God Save Us All (Death To Pop).’

To other band’s news, today the outfit has hit the road for the new tour leg with As It Is and Senses Fail. The tour has started off with a show at Orlando’s famous House Of Blues. Be sure to catch the band live if they’re touring nearby.
