DiCaprio’s new documentary ‘Before The Flood’ focuses on climate change

In case you haven’t heard yet, Nine Inch Nails’ frontman Trent Reznor and a Scottish post-rock band from Glasgow, Mogwai, have teamed up to record the soundtrack album to Leonardo DiCaprio’s new climate change film, titled Before The Flood. Today the official tracklist for the film been announced.

On the record, set for release October 21, you will find 18 tracks by Reznor and Mogwai in collaboration with Argentine film composer Gustavo Santaolalla. Reznor and Ross did not only produce the album but served as the main composers of the soundtracks (via NME).

Directed by actor/director Fisher Stevens, the film will debut on the National Geographic Channel in more than 100 countries on October 30 in the US. Before The Flood unfolds Leonardo DiCaprio’s campaign to raise global awareness about the irrevocable climate changes and depicts his initiatives as a UN Ambassador of Peace.

Reznor and Ross previously collaborated on David Fincher’s The Social Network, The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, and Gone Girl.
