In 2019 Trauma brought the band two Grammy Awards nominations

I Prevail’s second studio album Trauma, released on March 29, 2019, was a real game-changer in the band’s career. There isn’t a skippable song on the record. It gave the world such hits as ‘Breaking Down’, ‘Gasoline’ and ‘Hurricane’ and became the fourth best-selling album of the week in the US upon release.

In order to celebrate the fifth anniversary of Trauma, the band has just released a powerful nu-metal/post-hardcore single ‘Rise Above It’. Be sure to check out new lyric video for it in the player below:

The second single from Trauma album, ‘Breaking Down’, reached a bar as high as Top 10 of the Billboard Mainstream Rock Songs chart in May 2019. In November 2019, the band was awarded two Grammy nominations: the Best Rock Album for Trauma, and the Best Metal Performance for the album track ‘Bow Down’. “Feels like just yesterday that we put this record out,” I Prevail wrote on their Instagram.

In other band news, I Prevail’s vocalist Eric Vanlerberghe has recently appeared on Nothing More‘s track ‘House On Sand’. This is the first single from the upcoming fifth album by Nothing More, titled Carnal, out June 28. Watch the official video for this amazing collab below:

The band is also happy to join the celebration of other rock bands on the road. In Australia, the guys are going on tour with Parkway Official, celebrating their 20-year anniversary this September. The two bands will be joined on the road by The Ghost Inside and Void Of Vision.
