But the new album release date is still to be announced: FFDP “want this to be ready when it’s ready”
Five Finger Death Punch are finally giving their fans what they’ve been waiting for pretty much the whole year. Even though vocalist Ivan Moody didn’t want media and fans to rush things with the upcoming album, the first piece of it seems ready now – it’s a teaser of the first new single.
And we definitely like what we hear: check out the 30-second teaser of the track called ‘Inside Out’ below. The song is hands down a powerhouse, which raises our expectations of the forthcoming Five Finger Death Punch album even higher.

The teaser of ‘Inside Out’ surfaced as a promo video for the band’s 2020 tour with Megadeth and Bad Wolves. It’s interesting that Moody & Co. still don’t intend to reveal a release date for their eighth album. Moody made it clear in a recent interview that he doesn’t want usual pressure on him:
“It’s absolutely open-ended,” he said. “I don’t want any fucking endgame on it, there’s no end line to it. I really want this to be ready when it’s ready. I’d love to have it out by the beginning of 2020. That’s my goal, personally.” If you haven’t seen it, check out the full interview below.
